Mid Day Makeover (melanie)

Once upon a time there was a girl named Melanie.  She was your average girl with an average family and an average life.  Melanie did, though, have a not so average secret.  She is a superhero.  She gets her powers whenever she eats the powerful Life Savers Gummies Sours.  She has to be careful though, because no one knows her secret.  This is a story of a typical day in the life of Melanie or Gummy Girl.

It was a beautiful Saturday and Melanie was out with a couple of her friends Remy and Teresa.  They decided to go try out a new restaurant for lunch in downtown Cityville.  Melanie was feeling especially tired today.  Last night she had battled and defeated the Dr. Evil Baby and his dealy bottle pop minions.  It was also 2:30pm, and everyone feels tired at 2:30pm.  Melanie, Remy, and Teresa arrive at the restaurant and find it very nice.  They decide to sit outside and listen to the relaxing band.  The day was going perfect.  Then Melanie felt a slight vibration.  She looked around to see if anyone else had noticed, but everyone was still acting normal.  Thinking it was her imagination she went back to her conversation.  A minute later she felt the vibration again, but this time everone felt it.  As they are trying to figure out what it could be there is a huge crashing noise.  All of a sudden chunks of concrete and glass are flying everywhere.  Then a woman screams, "OH NO its its its the EVIL SOUR PATCH KIDS!!!!!!"  Everyone goes hysterical, and with good reason.  The evil Sour Patch Kids had been terrorizing Cityville for years.  They were one of those science experimets that went terribly wrong.  Melanie knew exactly what she had to do.  With all the commotion it was easy for her to sneak out of the restaurant.  She reached in her pocket and pulled out Life Saver Gummies Sours.  She knew this was not going to be easysince she had that 2:30 feeling, so she ate a couple extra.  As soon as the candy hit her stomach she became Gummy Girl!  The battle was long and grueling.  At one point Melanie wasnt sure if she was going to be able to defeat the Sour Patch Kids.  Then in the distance Melanie heard some music.  As it got louder she recognized the song.  It was "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns n Roses.  Now that Melanie had some awsome fight scene music she knew that she could defeat the Sour Patch Kids.  And so the day was saved thanks to Melanie/Gummy Girl and Life Savers Gummies Sour.
